How to keep cats from digging in your flower beds. I’ve tried the Cat Scat & the repellants, & they work, but you have to keep adding these for a few months until the cats “get the point.” I have also tried planting catnip away from my beds, & this has worked well. The more we can help our neighbors learn to appreciate the cats, the better—so we need to be able to explain the benefits that community cats provide (they tend to keep other cats &d vermin away, they are excellent at keeping rodents & bugs away from your house, they are entertaining to watch, etc.) while also dealing with the common complaints like flower beds.
