Two, loving, 5-yr.-old Labrador Retriever siblings in Austin, TX, need loving home together: 512-239-5011 or Andrea Morrow@tTCEQ.Texas.Gov

My former boss died last week leaving his two dogs behind. His widow is not in a position to give them the attention and exercise they need. They are neutered and their shots are up-to-date. If someone is interested, they can e-mail me their contact information and I’ll pass it along to her.   Here are the particulars:

Marty, black lab-mix…   and Coco, his sister, a yellow lab-mix.    They are five years-old and need to stay together in a new loving home.

Marty is very protective of his sister.  He pines for her if she is away.  He is very sensitive and loving. Very Zen.  At times he will choose affection over a treat (not always, but often). A bit shy at the start, but he’s a sweetie at heart. Since he was a puppy, he’d grab his food bowl by the teeth and move it to a more private area.  He still does that on occasion.

Coco is always ready to play and eat. She’s a bit territorial, and skittish at first, but can be won over with a treat. As a puppy, when she first saw grass on a sunny day, she sat like a little sphinx in the sunshine. She still does. They are both in excellent health, but I don’t think one would survive without the other.

If you, or someone you know,  is interested in giving them a great home, with love and fun and good care….PLEASE contact me. We will not send them to a shelter.
