Fredericksburg, TX-area camp for dyslexic Kids: Wolf Creek Camp

http://www.WolfCreekCamp.org & 720-980-4805 & Joyce@Frontier.Net   For professionally diagnosed dyslexic children ages 7-16:  an intensive 5-week language program.  Individualized for each child:  one-on-one tutoring, using an Orton-Gillingham approach; study hall with assignments designated by each child’s tutor; composition & reading fluency.  Immersion programs helps campers strength language foundation &  allowing them greater success when they return to their schools.  During the program many youngsters will progress through several grade levels in their languages skills.

A variety of outdoor adventures to help campers develop creativity, rediscover enthusiasm, enhance self-esteem, foster individual strengths & enhance their sense of mastery.The confidence campers gain as they successfully participate in these adventures –often translate into a more positive attitude that last long after they leave Wolf Creek Camp.

Outdoor Adventures:  mountain biking, Wild Texas (outdoor & survival skills), woodworking shop, swimming & water play, kayaking & tubing, horsemanship & team-building.

Day campers:  ages 7-10 years old

Residential campers:  ages 11-16 years old

Limited scholarship aid is available, based on financial need.
