Fredericksburg, TX,’ Quilting Guild enriches
- the lives of babies & children within the TX Child Protective Services network through beautiful, warm quilts made just for the children rescued from crisis. Each child’s quilt is a tangible reminder that the children are loved & wished well.
- the youth leaders with the FBG Chamber of Commerce’s annual, year-long iOpeners leadership program. In 2016, quilter SBirdlebo@Yahoo.com at 830-998-4504 donated her “Pokey Little Puppy” quilt to the iOpeners, as a fund-raising item for their dog-agility-course project (benefitting home-seeking dogs at the local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
iOpener youth leadership program was established by Jody Donovan & the Rotary Club of FBG was adopted by the FBG Chamber of Commerce as an annual program.
