COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The City of Lubbock and the Community Development and Services Board invites you to provide input on housing and community development priorities and goals for the 2014-2018 Housing and Community Development Five-Year Consolidated Plan.

Your input and feedback is vital to ensure the plan addresses community concerns.

Consolidated Plan will be used to identify community priorities for the next five years to fund housing, community development, and public service needs with grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development   (HUD).  The grants include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Home Investment Partnership Grant (HOME).

All interested parties, including housing industry professionals, subrecipients of federal housing funding, non-profits, social service agencies, neighborhood associations, city staff, community leaders and the general public in particular City of Lubbock residents.

Cada año, la Ciudad de Lubbock recibe fondos del U.S. Deparetment of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) para programs de vivienda y desarrollo communitario.  Para reciber estos fondos, la Ciudad debe completer un reporte llamado el “Consolidated Plan” cada cinco años.  El reporte para 2014-2018 esta en progreso y los comentarios de la comunidad son vitals para asegurar que las preocupaciones de los residents se tomen en cuenta.
