Opportunity & example: Sustainable Family Communities, a prospective Rotary global-grant project: http://youtu.be/ga0dsX7JISw

We are looking for other Clubs, organizations and individuals who may be interested in helping get these Sustainable Family Communities  implemented, perhaps also using Rotary grants.  Please feel free to pass this information on to your Club and others who you think might be interested in learning more about this amazing project – and thank you for doing that.  The video explains how they can get more information – or they can call me directly at cell: 303-941-0837 or send an email to: Info@SustainableFamilyCommunities.org

Our Club has recently adopted another international project – Sustainable Family Communities which is being done by one of our local nonprofit organizations and we are looking for other Clubs to work with as it is a big (very big) project with amazing potential to do good in our world. The project directly addresses the issue of poverty and is, we think, the most realistic, most comprehensive approach we have ever seen to deal with it.

There is a short 4 minute video on YouTube that explains how it is different (see the link below). I think you, like we, will find this approach not only unique, but with mind boggling potential. This video explains the “why” this process is different and needed, but does not have time to go into all of the details of the implementation (which is complex) plan. There have been over 800 people from 18 countries who have contributed their ideas that have been put into a Master Plan proving the ability of these communities to be economically self-sustaining.  The current focus is on Mexico for the prototype and we have sent our project leader to Mexico four times this last year to meet with Rotary Clubs, politicians, universities and more as we build support.

Why poverty has not been eliminated, why the orphan crisis continues to grow… and what can be done.     http://youtu.be/ga0dsX7JISw

As I mentioned, we are looking for other Clubs, organizations and individuals who may be interested in helping get these communities implemented, perhaps also using Rotary grants.  Please feel free to pass this information on to your Club and others who you think might be interested in learning more about this amazing project – and thank you for doing that.  The video explains how they can get more information – or they can call me directly at cell: 303-941-0837 or send an email to: Info@SustainableFamilyCommunities.org.

Thanks for your help in getting the word out.    Best Regards,  Bob Miller    Member – Mountain Foothills Rotary Club
