Plan ahead for teen-aged volunteers to work summers at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas

Want an early-bird, jump-start with your career plans in medicine, nursing, pharmacy or allied health?  Ready to begin a health profession or career during your teen-aged years?  Eager to get health-related experiences for your college applications or resumes?  Want to explore possibilities for a career in the health field?  Not sure if you really are called to become a physician, nurse, pharmacist; physical, occupational or speech-&-hearing therapist, researcher or medical physicist?  Willing to experience hands-on adventures to explore some of the hundreds of health-related careers?  Called to give back to your community through volunteer service?  Are you a servant-leader seeking a place to be of meaningful service?

Teen volunteers (14-17 years old) are invited to apply for volunteer job positions with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas — by contacting Tonya.Macias@TTUHSC.edu or 806-743-2959.

Teen volunteers will work in TTUHSC Outpatient Clinics as greeters & clinic or clerical assistants.  Uniforms will be provided.  Limited openings, so please apply now.
